____________________________________________________________Finished Project

This great lookin' C3 Vette came to us with 5+ complete paint jobs on it with the last being straight white. Needless to say we spent long hours sanding off all that paint, 23+layers...... my elbows hurt just thinkin' about it. It had some after-market parifrials already and we added some side ground effects to it.

We cutomized the existing after market hood to meet the owners Spec's.
That was a fun little job.

After all that sanding, geesh!, we got busy putting some color back on her. The owner wanted a two tone Black on White color scheme of his own design and we did our best to accomodate him. He let us pick the pearl for it...discisions, decisions!
The base white received white and blue pearl and the black received Gold and copper pearl.

The pearl was applied with clear blender suspended over 4 coats of Clear with 6 more shots of clear over that. Each layer was wet sanded before the next was applied.

The owner already had the engine "worked" so we didn't get to do that...darn!

The result was a beautiful personalized '76 C3 Stingray. The owner was very pleased......
at least that's what he told us, LOL!
Look for his letter in the testamonials.

You be the judge.

This beauty has placed in several shows already.

This is one of my first cars when I was just a snot nosed kid of 17.

It's a '70 Torino SCJ Drag-pac Car. It had a Boss 429 with a toploader 4 speed and 430 gears.

That baby would run.

When I aquired it, it had been setting along side a barn and needed to be completely redone.
I unfortunatly didn't take any pictures while in progress, just a stupid kid, LOL!
.................but here's one of her done.
Unfortunately it was stolen two years later and never recoverd.

Here's a little '91 S10 we did for a friend's grand son. He had started the sanding with a grinder of all things, with what looked like a "flintstone" grit grinding disc, LOL!  Needed several shots of primer and loads of sanding. But in the end It came out nice and the youngster loved it.
The front bumper was painted at the request of the owner but we later talked him into replacing it, thank God.
We later lowerd it with hydrolics and put some nice 20" rims and tires on it. Couldn't talk him into a small block though, LOL! We tried kiddo!

This '79 F150 came to us in primer and in need of lots of fill and rust work. We cut out and replaced all the "cancer" and filled some pitting and dings the old fasioned way with lead filler. We didn't use any plastic in this one.
The owner already had a 429 Big block and tricked out C6 built and installed so we just handled the painting and reassembly.
